Katie

This is another really fun cut. The entire haircut was with a razor and my texturizing shears.
The hair is cut short around the crown of the head and left longer around the ears and neck to create a chunky shag.
I styled with Aveda Universal Styling Creme.

Zane

This was a fun cut! Zane's hair was pretty long to begin with and in need of a style. I left the top long and cut extra length off the sides to add a modern edge.
I did a lot of texturizing because his hair is pretty fine and I wanted it to look as full as possible.
I styled with Aveda Men Grooming Creme. Rawk it!

Duh dum-du-dumm!

This updo was actually from last year, but a classic wedding updo never goes out of style.

Sarah was a bridesmaid, so I wanted a beautiful style that would not outshine the bride.
I finished with a natural make-up application.

Going Red!

This project was a lot of fun. I have been doing Heather's hair for years and this was the first time we wanted to go really bright with a red.

Heather's hair before:

To make the red as bright as possible, I pre-lightened the hair and then used a permanent red color.

The end result was a very rich red with a brilliant shine.

Heather's hair after:

To style Heather's hair, I had to take into account that she has fine hair. Light product is the key with fine hair because you don't want to weight it down.
I used a tiny bit of styling creme and B&B Styling Lotion, and dried with a round brush.
I then trimmed her ends dry to really clean up the overall look. Love it!
